UPF Rating
Anything under direct sunlight will fade, it is inevitable. All parasols have a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) which indicates just how much protection the canopies have from ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun. Ratings range from 15 to 50, 50 being the most resistant. UPF ratings are available on request. Just click here for more information.
Parasol Covers
All of our parasols are available with separate covers that are made to fit. Parasol covers protect your parasol from bad weather, garden debris, bird droppings and more. Always make sure that your parasol canopy is dry before putting the cover on. When not in use, you should always close your parasol. If you leave your parasol open, inclement weather like high winds can damage the parasol and even cause it to fall over. Covers keep the parasol tight and less susceptible to catching strong gusts of wind.
Cleaning your Parasol
"If you care for your parasol, you will enjoy it for many years to come..."
If you need to clean the canopy you should use lukewarm water, mild detergent and a soft clean sponge. Alternatively, you could use a soft brush to remove any dirt or dust that is on the canopy. Avoid using anything abrasive or harsh chemicals as they could damage your parasol.
