About Our Tilting Parasols
Tilting cantilever parasols are innovative and versatile shading solutions that offer functionality and style for outdoor spaces. Unlike traditional centre pole umbrellas, cantilever parasols feature an offset design, with the canopy suspended from a side-mounted pole. This design provides unobstructed shade and allows for flexible positioning and tilting capabilities, making them highly adaptable to changing sunlight angles and user preferences. Tilting mechanisms give you more flexibility in your garden. Allowing you to easily move the canopy as the sun moves throughout the day. The tilting mechanism can usually be operated easily with a handle, providing effortless adjustment. At the top of many cantilever parasols, you will notice an air vent to help reduce wind pressure. This ventilation system allows the parasol to stand firmer. Additionally, on warm days it means that the warm air rises and leaves the parasol. Our selection of tilting parasols all use a similar mechanism and tilt in the same way. They feature a handle which can be found on the arm coming off the pole. The handle will be towards the edge of the canopy near the parasol pole. To tilt the canopy you will need to pull the handle, you will pull it either towards you or out towards the canopy. This can vary depending on the make or manufacturer. Then all you need to do is tilt the handle either left or right and this will move the canopy.Tilting Mechanism
