About Our 3m Cantilever Parasols

We sell a variety of 3m parasols available in either round or square. There are several colours to choose from including grey or taupe. Some customers ask us whether a 3m parasol is too big, but this is not the case. If you’re covering a corner set or a dining set more often than not you need a larger parasol to provide enough shade.

When parasols are not in use it is compact and takes up much less space. The canopy raises up against the pole which takes up minimal space.

Why choose a 3m parasol?

3m parasols are the most popular size we stock, they are large enough to provide shade for most garden furniture sets without overwhelming your garden.

3m Cantilever Parasols FAQ's

  • Are cantilever parasols durable?

Yes, our collection of cantilever parasols is highly durable. They are designed with premium materials such as powder coated aluminium or concrete bases. Cantilever parasols are designed to be left outside all year, they are designed with the elements in mind.

  • How do I know if a 3m Cantilever Parasol is right for me?

To know if you're choosing the right parasol there are a couple of things to consider. Firstly, if you're looking to cover furniture such as a dining set or corner sofa but the table does not have a gap for a parasol then you need a side post parasol. Secondly, consider the size of your furniture. Measure the footprint of your furniture if it measures more than 2.5m x 2.5m we would recommend a 3m parasol.

  • How do I know if my parasol is stable?

The base is really important when choosing your parasol. You need a suitable base to keep a cantilever parasol stable. We would recommend a concrete or ceramic base as these are heavier materials. We would also recommend a base that weighs 90kg or more for a parasol that measures 2.5m - 3m. If your parasol measures 3.5m consider a 120kg or 150kg base.
